Many of the female teachers wear hats to school and continue to wear them all day long. Some hats are fancier than others. I don’t really know if they wear hats because they look nice wearing them or because they don’t have to deal with their hair or (in my case most days) just having a bad hair day. For some I had thought it might be a traditional or religious covering-of-the-head reason, but I have seen them all at school without hats and scarf wraps, so I have ruled that out. Until I hear otherwise, I’m sticking with the fashion-statement theory. Sharp!
